How to cook the Chinese herbs
The best container is ceramic. Glass is okay; Stainless
steel is better than the other metals.
1. Put herbs in pot; add 5-6cups ( about 1 liter ) of the water
covering the herbs.Let them sit for 20 minutes without turning on the heat beneath
the tea pot.( soak the herbs )
2. Bring water to a rolling boil. Then, turn down the fire to a low simmer.
3. Cook herbs for 45-60 minutes. Strain the
tea, (about 2 cups of tea left) and drink one/two cups per day.
Do not eat the herbs!
